We have all been there. We’ve experienced a clogged toilet and then we start dreading how we’re going to get it unclogged. Well, it’s not as intimidating as you might think. Here, we’re going to talk about some of the basics. However, note that these three tips are what we consider the fastest tricks to unclogging. Sometimes, there are slower methods that are just as effective, but we prefer these speedy approaches.
Top 3 Quick Ways
They call it the most handy bathroom tool for a reason! Okay, maybe “they” don’t call it that, but the plunger is pretty handy. It does the job quickly and is relatively inexpensive to keep in your bathroom.
You can also try a waste removal chemical. These products can get through the toilet’s standing water, no problem, to the source of the clog. They break down the irritant that’s blocking the plumbing, making it small enough to finally pass through the pipes.
Finally, this is a surprise to some: a wire hanger. Yep, you can use this as a sort-of mock plumber’s snake. Just wrap the end – that you’re going to insert – in a soft cloth, that way it doesn’t scratch up the plumbing. It should act like a plumbing snake does, in that it will dislodge anything that is just sitting in the pipes.
Speedy AND Effective!
These remedies get the job done! If you need to speedily unclog your toilet, try a plunger, a product, or a wire hanger. They work! If you’ve got something though that just won’t budge from your plumbing, call a professional. You don’t want to inadvertently do more damage to your toilet’s pipes.
