Summer is officially here and there are lots of things going on for the kids. Museums
Jack Sisemore Traveland RV Museum has been dubbed an amazing attraction that keeps the entire family entertained. There’s lots to see there, so you could end up there all day. The American Quarter Horse Heritage Center & Museum isn’t just for those who like horses, it’s an interesting place with a rich history and beautiful gardens.
Outdoor Activities
If you and your little ones are more about nature and enjoy the outdoors, then you’re in the right place. There are a number of places in Amarillo that offer horseback riding tours. Not only is this a great outdoor sporting activity, it’s fun for people of all ages. There’s also a Cadillac ranch if you want to check out the beautiful cars, which is a great stopover on the way to Denver.
The Amarillo Botanical Gardens is another beautiful place to while away the hours. There are lots of lovely plants, gardens, and trees to look at with a number of comfortable seating areas. If your kids are animal mad, why not spend the day at the zoo? With lots of interesting animals you don’t often get the chance to see, a day at the zoo is a winner when it comes to family fun activities.
